The monster in my closet I can see his two big eyes He’s probably there all day—all night Just hiding in disguise Oh! This gives me quite a fright Mommy! Mommy, hold me tight! When I’m sleeping he can tear out my hair! Thank goodness . . . it’s my teddy bear!

You have a great imagination, Kasidy! This is a funny one. I used to be afraid of a punching bag that had a clown on it. I made my mommy and daddy take it out of my room at night. Come to think of it . . .clowns still scare me.
I am an 11 year old girl. I like to write poems about all kinds of things. For instance, life and funny things. I get most of my poem ideas from the books that I read and my life experience. I hope you enjoy my poems. Maybe someday you can have a poem blog too! My dad helps me maintain this site. Some of my first poems on this blog are from when I was six or seven. I will add new poems all the time because i love to write! Please leave me a comment.
