The Monster in my Closet

The monster in my closet
I can see his two big eyes
He’s probably there all day—all night
Just hiding in disguise
Oh! This gives me quite a fright
Mommy! Mommy, hold me tight!
When I’m sleeping he can tear out my hair!
Thank goodness . . . it’s my teddy bear!

You have a great imagination, Kasidy! This is a funny one. I used to be afraid of a punching bag that had a clown on it. I made my mommy and daddy take it out of my room at night. Come to think of it . . .clowns still scare me.
